The festival takes place every three years and I would love to see some of the Stitch Business members enter new work. You can see the work featured in all the different galleries in this area. In 2012 the WOT extended to include art galleries in Toronto. The next one is 2015 so lots of time to get your work ready to send. It is an international exhibition and features all fibre arts. People come to see the exhibition from all over the world. less

His photos are a big influence for me, but so far I've seen them only in books. It's an excellent exhibition and includes examples of his collage work which are rarely seen. If you're in London I think it's worth a look. The gallery also has an excellent cafe and an outstanding art bookshop.

I don't think I have ever been to Whitechapel Art Gallery before - so next time I am in London - I will pay it a visit! Loving the work of Karl Blossfeldt! A good subject for Research for Design!

That's all you need to do.

The eternal question of how many hours spent vs what the public will pay I guess that's why we do it for the love of stitch....! (Maybe we should retrain as plumbers).

I am following your progress! You said that you use Appleton yarn - I really like the colours they do but the thickness of the yarn is variable. What do you do when you get to a thin bit of the yarn? Do you just carry on? I am using it for my canvas work and when it goes thin i can see the canvas through it am I am not sure if I should try to avoid the thin bits.
